Double Roasted with Pistachio & Icing
This variety is made of a sweet red wick filling, double roasted Turkish pistachios, and then topped with powdered sugar all around and cut into cubes. Double Roasted Sultan is typically larger than other Turkish Delights and more puffy in consistency.
Double Roasted Turkish Delight has become one of the most well known flavors of Turkey due to its exquisite taste. In Double Roasted varieties, the nuts are cooked a second time with the other ingredients, making it perhaps the one of the most delicious varieties of Turkish Delight, often ranking first amongst many Turkish products. This is the best pistachio baklava I have ever eaten. There is less dough in this type of baklava, which only enhances the pistachio flavor. If you love pistachios, this is the baklava for you!
